Ware Shoals Youth Center
Councilwoman Jackson is leading the way to the development of The Town of Ware Shoals' own Youth Center. Our youth is the future! The Town of Ware Shoals would like to provide a safe, and secure location for our youth to have fun. The Youth Center will be located in the former Mark's Department Store building on North Greenwood Ave. Stay tuned for exciting updates!

Road Paving 2025 Project: Mill Hill
Councilman White is leading the way on the road paving project in the Mill Hill area, made possible through funding from Greenwood CTC. This important initiative will improve road conditions, enhance safety, and make travel more convenient for residents throughout Mill Hill.
This year’s award totals $460,000, which will cover approximately 80% of the Mill Hill area. The project marks a significant investment in local infrastructure and quality of life for the community.

River Park -Addition
Councilman Kent Boles is leading the effort on developing a new park located beside the dam. The Ware Shoals public works department has already began working on clearing this area out. Project start date is Summer 2023.

Katherine Hall- Rehabilitation
Councilman Powell is leading the effort to rehabilitate Katherine Hall. Projected Start date is April 2024.

Irving Pitts Park-Upgrade
Irving Pitts Park will be getting a complete makeover. New picnic shelters, tables, and benches will be installed. The park will also see the addition of a new playground and splash pad.
